Providing call back service twenty-four hours per day costs more than having limited hours, and in most locations overnight call volumes probably do not warrant round-the-clock coverage when the vast majority of customer service issues are not emergency situations and can wait a few hours to be handled, or else can be dealt with online without needing a call at all.
