Do not return

I received an email from the seller, telling me not to return the item. They assured me I would receive a refund. Is this legitimate?

Did you file a Return Request?

If so, and you do not receive the refund or a return shipping label within 3 days, on day 4 go back to your Return Request details and have Ebay step in to help you.

@jeaheddleso0   If you have a refund return request opened do NOT close it until the seller makes you whole.  The case times out after 30 days so if they don't issue the refund after 4 business days you should ask eBay to step in and help.

I can’t use the item but seller emailed and said do not return the item. My refund posted but I want to return the item. Should I?

@jeaheddleso0.  If you received a refund their is no need to return it since the seller said to keep it.     Sometimes it's better for the sellers bottom line not to pay return shipping on top of refunding a buyer.

If it's not damaged you could donate it.
