Do Sellers get Notification when they make a sale?

Do sellers get some kind of notification when they make a sale? 

It seems like when I was a seller before I would get an email and perhaps a text when I made a sale.

I have not listed anything in several years. I listed some things this past week. I got my first sale today. I did not receive any kind of notification. I just happened to look to see how many people had looking at my listings and I happened see it said I made my first sale.

Since it has been a while you may need to update your notifications: 

Communication Preferences (ebay.com)

You have Notification delivery options on that page plus what you want notified of ... this would be for a PC

If you install the eBay phone App you can get notifications there too.
