I had a seller who bought a blouse. I was ready to mail the package, when I got an email later on that the buyer filed a dispute because it didn’t recognize the purchase. As soon as I saw the dispute, I refunded the funds. I thought it will automatically cancel the order. But it didn’t. I tried to cancel the order myself, but I couldn’t because of pending dispute. Is been 7 days and eBay hasn’t close the dispute even thou I already refunded the buyer. I contact eBay twice and they told me they couldn’t do anything because the dispute is with PayPal and PayPal is no longer their payment processor, since they use their new payment management system they don’t have control of PayPal. Also they couldn’t tell me how long it will take to finalize/close the dispute. That doesn’t make sense. eBay processed the dispute. It allowed me to refund the seller 7 days ago. Why they can’t close the dispute? Why they have to wait for PayPal to process the refund to the buyer (that’s what eBay customer service told me) even thou eBay already send the funds back.
Meanwhile it shows I haven’t mail it the package.
