I'm a fairly new seller on ebay and I'd like to better understand how you apply a discount code to a listing. Are you required to have a store to offer a discount code to an item? In addition to your answers, is there a place where I can learn more about discount codes and coupons? TIA

Thanks for responding to my question. However I was asking from a sellers point of view regarding how to setup discounts and coupons for a seller.

I do not know if a seller has to have a store subscription in order to offer a coupon, but I believe a store is not required to have a markdown sale.

Go to       Seller Hub > Marketing      and see what is available.
