I requested directly with a seller that my order be cancelled, about 8 hours after the purchase. The seller replied and stated that the order had been cancelled. I never received a refund. This purhcase/cancellation took place on 6/14/21.
The item was still showing in my purchase history as of yesterday, not having been shipped or cancelled. I contacted the seller and haven't heard back.
I mistakenly started a return on it trying to get my refund and then canceled the return. Now, there is no longer the "ask Ebay to step in" option under the "additional actions" option. I can't do anything with this item (that I don't have) other than contact the seller who isn't responding.
How do I contact Ebay to get my refund in this case? Their automated help chat is no help.
