To start off this is my first time using eBay, and im not too good with new apps, I usually stick to easy things like Facebook marketplace or OfferUp.
Im being charged for holding an “auction”? I wasn’t aware of what i was doing when putting up my DS for sale. Not knowing I did I left it up to see if anyone would snag it. I ended up selling it on Facebook marketplace. Didn’t sell it on eBay but was confused on how to take the listing down. I thought I had it covered I deleted the listing but a couple days later I see something in my email saying i owe eBay money??? I am not going to pay the $22 bucks they’re asking for, for simply putting my DS up for sale 😭 I’m honestly dumbfounded, idk what I was doing /:

@ka7059 If you used any optional upgrades such as Reserve Price then those fees are due the MOMENT you list the item. The listing form even says fees apply for reserve price.
Those fees are not refundable even if the item doesn't sell.
I know it's tempting to just jump in to selling but it's always a good idea to find out how things work first on a new to you site.
Here's how to contact eBay customer service to see if they will give you a courtesy refund of the fees or not:
eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.
