Declined a cancellation request in error

Is it possible to approve a cancellation request after you declined it by mistake?

You can still cancel it.  Click the error next to print shipping label and then click cancel the transaction.  Choose buyer requested.  Make sure you message the buyer.  I always block those who cancel, but that is up to you.

This has been a nightmare!  Initially, I did try the cancellation tab and it appeared to not work.  I called multiple times and finally got a live person at Ebay's customer service (boy, is that term an overstatement) and was advised that the cancellation tab could not be used.  They advised that there was no way to reverse the "denied cancellation request".

Subsequently, I made a deal with the potential buyer to complete the purchase by only paying the shipping and Ebay fees.  I then issues a refund for the balance.  I thought it was resolved, but today I got an email that Ebay was going to charge my account for the entire transaction.

I have tried to call their customer service area 9 times, but could never get past the auto attendant.  MOST IRRITATING AND FRUSTRATING!!!!

If you have any ideas on how I can fix this, I will be very grateful.
