Deceptive jewelry lot listings

I have noticed that people show pictures of large amounts of jewelry in lots and you click on them only to find out you are only getting 10 or whatever amount . This seems to be deceptive? Yea or nay?

Hi @jobr_2554

Yes it is deceptive and a policy violation. You can use the Report link on the item listing located above the description over on the right.

Re: Deceptive jewelry lot listings

There are so many listing in jewelry lots like this. Deceptive I mean. It should be what you see is what you get? Is that accurate? If I listed shoes for instance with a picture of a lot of shoes but when you click on it it's not really a deal, because your only getting one pair. I know that wouldn't be right.

@jobr_2554

An exception would be a choice listing. For example, the photo shows a shirt in six colors and the title indicates a shirt in choice of colors. When you open the listing, there would be a dropdown with colors and sizes to choose from. In that case, the listing is for one shirt.

However if the description is for a "Lot," then everything pictured should be included in the lot.

If you have an example listing you want to post here so we can take a look, feel free to do that.
