I sold an item and it arrived damaged. I added extra insurance on it but it says I have to wait 7 days to file the claim. My question is, do I refund the buyer while waiting on the insurance claim or does the insurance company pay them for the broken item?

@vaughan0675 Get pictures of the item the packing material and the box for your insurance claim.
Insurance is for the the sellers protection. buyers are covered by the ebay moneyback guarantee.
This means you refund the buyer and wait for the refund from the insurance if any.
