I forgot to include the customs document in a package sent from France to China

Can I send it by email?

This is the USA boards, you need to ask on the France boards.  However, your item will probably come back to you unless ebay handled the shipping and added the customs document.

I sent it through the ebay website, i.e. I printed off the delivery address sheet and paid on the ebay website

Does that therefore mean it's ok?

Did you use the Ebay International Shipping (EIS) program, or did you ship it direct yourself?

I printed off the form generated by ebay then I took it to a pickup point

If this is for the saddle, you do not have your shipping set up properly and are going to have problems.  You can not use any of the USA shipping options, besides I am sure the would not fit in a Medium Flat Rate box nor could you ship it for free as indicated in your listing.  You need to get some help on ebay country website you are registered on and ship from.
