I had a friend of mine who bought an item from a legitimate Ebay seller. But he needed his address changed. He looked up Ebay customer service phone number on google and got an 844 number 

He called and they said he had to get a $100 gift card and forward them the PIN number.  He did it.

 I know it was a scam. What is your real customer service phone number  ?  I have been onEbay over

20 years and know Ebay doesn’t operate that way. I am just trying to help him out because he thinks that he gave the scammers his real debit and credit card information.  What is the legitimate Ebay

If you click on Help & Contact at the top of the page, and answer all the questions, you will provided with instructions how to contact Ebay.

You can tell your friend that they cannot change their shipping address after they have already made the purchase.

For future purchases, they can go to their My Ebay page, click on the Account tab, and click on Personal Information.

Sorry your friend fell for the fake Ebay contact SCAM. It is very common.

Make sure that your friend cancels their debit and credit card ASAP.
