Counterfeit Coins from China

Recently I found a deal on TEMU too good to be true. I purchased several coins (Morgan Silver Dollars). All arrived and were EXACTLY the same! They were certified as counterfeit by a coin dealer. This is a Chinese company that circumvents government regulations. There are many coins on eBay from China. How many satisfied customers have had these coins verified?

Re: Counterfeit Coins from China

All coins from China are counterfeit. It's as simple as that.

TEMU has nothing to do with ebay, so no help here.  There are lots of fake Morgans and you would have been protected had you purchased them on ebay.

I suspect that the two elements of this question are incompatible.  That is, can't use "verified coins purchased from China" and "satisfied customer" in the same sentence.  These coin counterfeiters have been at it so long that you'd think that by now everybody would be onto their scheme.  I guess not, wasn't it PT Barnum who said there's one born every minute?

You missed my question. Perhaps I wrote too many details to give context. My question is has anyone bought from an eBay seller in China, coins that they were satisfied with, then found them to be counterfeit?

Hi @sgtcasre1

When you post a question on the 'Ask a Mentor' Board ... you are reaching about 80 of the most experienced buyers and sellers on eBay.  We already know better than to expect to receive authentic products from China ... so we avoid buying things like coins or digital items.  China is the counterfeit capitol of the universe.

Why hasn't eBay banned China sellers from posting?
