Charged all your funds for a shipping label

Hello, I sold my first item on ebay 5 days ago. It was a lego marvel set, I sold it for $135. It turns out I ended up paying $157 on the shipping label and cannot get my money back because the product was already delivered. Can anyone please explain and let me know what I did wrong and if there is a way to get my money.

Re: Charged all your funds for a shipping label

Hi @mg67_59  I looked at the sold listing and it looks like you did everything right. You sell only to U.S. buyers, and the amount it shows for Priority Mail shipping to my location is right.

Where was the buyer located?  Double-check how much you were charged for the label: Go to your Seller Hub > Payments. If you're on the computer, look at Recent Activity. If you're on the phone, then >See All activity.  How much did eBay charge for the shipping label for that order? (It will be a - amount shown in red.)

Re: Charged all your funds for a shipping label

Hello, thanks for the reply, the buyer is from Idaho, and apparently the shipping label was supposed to be $13.74 but I ended up paying $154.94 which was all my earnings.

Re: Charged all your funds for a shipping label

@mg67_59  The $154.94 amount is shown in -red text for the Shipping Label cost, not the Payout?

Is it possible you changed the weight or dimensions during the label printing process?  Otherwise sounds like it may be a technical problem.  The Best Offer you accepted wouldn't have changed the shipping amount like that either.

Re: Charged all your funds for a shipping label

Hey, the box was 11 inches in length, 7.5 inches in width, and 5.5 inches in height. It weighed 1 pound and 2.30 ounces. The weight and dimensions were entered correctly. I will have to call technical support. Thank you for your time and help.

Re: Charged all your funds for a shipping label

@mg67_59  You're welcome!  I can tell that you entered the weight and dimensions correctly in the listing, since the listing shows the right amount for shipping the package. When you print a shipping label, you can change the weight and dimensions before printing, and that would change the amount charged.
