Changing search filter default settings

I want to lock in the "U.S." as my default 'Item Location' for all current and future searches. It is annoying to change this in the filter area for each new search. I could not find anywhere in my user area to accomplish this. thanks, Misteredswoodworking

Re: Changing search filter default settings

If you are using the eBay app, it is possible to lock some filters settings. First you must enable the lockable filters under Customization in the Filter menu. Then you can use the padlock icons that appear next to filter options to "lock" those filter choices and make them the default search options.

If you are using a desktop browser, eBay does not provide a way to change the default Item location filter, but there is a third party browser extension called "eBay Item location -- my country only" that can override eBay's default Item location setting.

Ebay does not offer us that option.
