Changing feedback RATING straight answer needed.

So, long story short, not sure how I left negative feedback rating accidentally, but if it's that easy to do, that's something ebay needs to address because it must not have something like an "are you sure you mean to do this" warning message for fat fingered users. I want to make this right and got the seller to send a feedback revision request. So, I can add more feedback. That's not what I need. I need to know how to CHANGE the negative rating to a positive one, or just remove it altogether. How do you do this? And, if you can't, Ebay needs to make some changes to this system or it's just damaging to sellers and buyers. Thank you for any information.

@grievous-33.  You should be able to change the negative feedback to positive from the revision request.

No, if I click on the link in the revise feedback email eBay sent me, it says the item can’t be found. If I go under the feedback left for others in my profile, it will just let me add another line of feedback, not change the rating. I’ve sent in an email request to eBay trying to find out what’s going on. If it’s this much of a hassle to fix an accident I probably just won’t leave feedback in the future.

There is a 10 day time limit for revising feedback. Could that be what happened?

"Revision requests expire after 10 days and the feedback won’t be changed if you haven’t responded within that time."

ditto . . . The negative feedback time frame is stamped "Past month" but the feedback is the nineteenth one from the top, as of this typing, so there's a reasonable possibility that it is more than ten days old.

It says I can revise feedback until 1-10-26, but doesn’t say if the rating can be changed. It sounds silly that you would be able to change one thing, but not the other, but that’s why I was trying to get a “straight” answer. I’m supposed to be getting a reply to my email in 24-48 hours, so hopefully I can get this resolved.

We think that something might not be working correctly.  This is why we also tagged the community team to look into this.  Another buyer reported a similar situation.   

The community team will not be back in the office until tomorrow.

Thank you for confirming a tech issue ... I was racking my brain trying to figure out if it was a tech issue, member incompetence, unannounced intended change or what.
