Cannot add an item to the cart

I cannot add any item from a particular seller to my shopping cart (all the items from this seller), but I continue receiving promotion messages from this seller.  It happens to me only the sellers oversea (China).  I messaged the seller but no response.  Does any of you have a similar experience?  Thank you.

What happens when you try to add items to your cart from that seller? It's possible they have blocked you for some reason, or that there is something wrong in their settings that is preventing you from purchasing their items, but without more detail it's difficult to know what to suggest.

Maybe it is because I asked them whether their merchandise are authentic?  They sell below-market merchandise.  So I ask them whether it is authentic and whether I can send them to eBay Authentication Service.

I did not know a seller can block a buyer.  It is new to me.  Thank you.

That kind of question will get you blocked by any seller you ask.  Since the sellers are in China the answer probably is that the items are not authentic so they do not want to tell you this or have trouble with you later when you find this out.
