I have been with ebay for two decades a 100% rating. Several weeks ago I listed an Amek recording console for $3100 Eventually there was a buyer. I am in Connecticut, and he is in Alabama . John and I spoke on the phone after the sale very amicably. After the realization that he would have to fly to Connecticut and rent a truck and drive back to Alabama…..17 hrs and 1,100 miles, and given the delicate nature of electronics, he / we decided to CANCEL the sale.
Thankfully he was given his money back. WHY was a I given a bill of $785.00 ………there was never a commission as the sale was CANCELLED ! This is very unfair and unethical. I am really
