Can't see the actual Sold Listing

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I cannot see the actual Sold Listing when I click on it from Sold Listings in a search I am running here on eBay. Every single time I click on the sold listing to see something about that specific listing, eBay sends me automatically to an ACTIVE similar listing. This is infuriating because I use the Sold Listings sometimes to help me sell the same item without autofill or using the "Sell Similar" button. Anyone know why this is? Or is it just me?

Re: Can't see the actual Sold Listing

If eBay forwards you to an active listing, there should be a link in the banner at the top of the active listing to the original listing, as long as the original sold listing is still on the site. Sold listings are typically removed after ninety days unless eBay removes them earlier for a policy violation.

Re: Can't see the actual Sold Listing

Ok I tried looking but the listings I saw were from October and I didn't see anywhere that I could see the original listing. Doing this from a Desktop and not the app. I can see the original listing in the app.

Re: Can't see the actual Sold Listing

eBay has been adding multiple rows of sponsored listings to ended items, so you may need to scroll down the page to see the original listing if you are following a link to an ended listing.

If that is not the issue, you should be able to see a listing by pasting the item number into a link like this:

If you spend a lot of time looking at ended listings, it might be worthwhile to use an ad blocker's element hiding tool to block some of the rows of sponsored listings to save yourself from having to scroll down the page each time you open an ended listing.

Re: Can't see the actual Sold Listing

Ok going to upload some pics to show you what I mean. I appreciate the feedback. For starters my Ad Blocker is off for eBay. When I click on my own Sold Listing (Circled in Yellow) it opens a new window and takes me to it right away. But when I click on someone else's Sold Listing it opens a new window to an Active Listing. I have taken several photos to show what I see on my end. Hope this clarifies some things. I see NO option to see original listing like I do in the app, even if I scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. My Sold ListingMy Sold ListingMy new sold listing. My new sold listing.Someone else's ListingSomeone else's ListingThe new window with an active listingThe new window with an active listingwhat is on the page as I scrollwhat is on the page as I scroll20241102_223921.jpg20241102_223933.jpgthe very bottom of the page.the very bottom of the page.

Re: Can't see the actual Sold Listing

If the listing does not come up on ebay.com, try viewing the listing on ebay.ca instead.

For some reason, items remain on ebay.ca longer than on ebay.com.
