Can I include a vintage advertising photo of a vintage, used dress I'm selling, to show how the dress falls, flows and looks when it's worn? The advertising photo is meant as a representation as the dress is a extra small and won't fit on my mannequin.

The copyright if one was available would have ended by now the dress is at least 40 years old.

I would include the advertising photo as the LAST photo in your listing and clearly state it is an advertising photo from 40 years ago.
