Buyer send an item back (return) but not through eBay. if I refund him the sale amount I will lose $

buyer sent back item, without going through eBay. I have no problem refunding him, but if I refund him the full amount I will lose money, due to him not going through eBay. Nothing wrong with the product. He just decided he didn’t want it.

Since the buyer sent it back because of buyer's remorse, you are allowed to refund price of item only.

The refund you owe would be the same whether the buyer opened a case or not. Use the Send refund option in the dropdown next to the order transaction to refund the item price only.
