In one of my auction listings a buyer place a direct bid to me ( for 24 hours) that was not a public bid. I accepted that bid, the buyer then turned around and asked me to cancel his bid because he said he made a mistake ( sic).
I canceled his bid from my end, in doing so the product I was selling reset - in other words I lost all the other watchers for this product and the auction is now ending 7 days from when I cancelled the ‘ buyer’s’ bid. Even though there were no other actual bids for the product I am not happy because I lost all the watchers for this product.
Is there any other way to cancel a buyer’s bid and not lose other watchers or bids going forward if a buyer requests that I cancel a bid that I have accepted?
