Buyer paid but item still appears as unpaid? Shipping not available for it?

Hello, 

We have a weird issue with one item that sold, and it appeared unpaid for several days, we went to open a Unpaid Item case today, but errored out and said buyer has paid for the item. 

Checked the transaction history, and buyer indeed did pay for the item. ISSUE IS NOT THAT BUYER DIDN'T PAY.

Item still shows as unpaid on our end though, and even if we try to "Mark as Payment Received" it does absolutely nothing. It doesn't change it's status, and thus we are unable to buy a shipping label for it. The Ship Your Order page has a big red error text box on top that reads: "It looks like the buyer has not paid for this item yet. You should wait until you receive payment before dispatching this order." and all the options to ship are greyed out. 

I've been talking to ebay the last 4 hours, passed around to at least 12 reps. A few tried also to mark as payment received on their side, and said they were also unable to. 

What is going on here? I feel like I'm losing my mind, having to relay and recommunicate everything again and again and again to ebay reps. I just want to ship this so the buyer isn't waiting forever. 

Anyone else experiencing this? You got payment, but it still appears unpaid?
