I don't sell too much on Ebay. In fact I forgot I had this item listed.
When it sold I noticed the item had only one photo and also a few details in the description were off. I noticed the make date was listed wrong. It was made in 1977 but I mistakenly put 1978 in the listing. I tried to contact the buyer several times. Buyer has not replied. I was supposed to ship today, but with no reply now it will be late. I know I will now be penalized for shipping it late. I don't want to send it until I know buyer still wants it. I don't want to misrepresent anything.
Should I cancel the order and wait for the reply?
What is the best way to handle this situation at this point?
Thanks.

I would cancel the transaction and refund. Be aware that you will receive a defect from Ebay for not completing the transaction and possible negative feedback from the buyer.

Thank you for your feedback. Another seller told me to send it since its not a big mistake, but I’m leaning in your direction. I hate to send something which isn’t exactly as described.
I have a perfect rating at the moment so hopefully it doesn’t hurt my shop too much. I can’t be perfect all the time.
