Buyer made a mistake

Two hours after the purchase the buyer sent me a message that they made a mistake and would like to cancel the purchase.  I haven't shipped it so that is fine with me.  I sent them a message saying that would be fine, but I do not know how to do that. I haven't gotten a reply from the buyer.  Does that need to happen from the buyer's side? I don't want this to reflect poorly on the buyer or myself as a seller!  Thank you in advance for the help!!

You cancel the transactionhttps://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/sellers-can-cancel-order?id=4136&st=3&pos=1&query=How%20selle... using the reason Per Buyer's Request.  No one is penalized.

No penalty, but you still have to pay the 30 cent transaction fee.

If you haven't yet, you'll need to add a credit or debit card to cover any fee's or refunds not covered by the avaliable funds.
