Buyer didn’t confirm delivery

Hi, 

I recently sold my first item on the 17th of September. The buyer payed for the item and I shipped it out a day later with USPS. The tracking on the shipping says it’s been delivered but when I go to the listing it has an estimated delivery date from September 30th - October 1st. I haven’t been paid yet. I don’t know if it has to do with me being a new seller or what. The buyers account says that it is from 2016. Does the buyer still need to confirm the purchase or not? I have tried contacting the buyer but they won’t respond. Thanks!

The buyer does not need to do anything.  The tracking will update - eBay does not update real time.

I can't see your sold item, but depending on what it is, eBay may hold your payment for 21 or 30 days.  Low tech or low cost items are generally released after  tracking shows delivery.

I have read that they do hold your payment when you are a new seller. I sold it for $400 and it is a graphics card.

They'll probably hold the funds for 30 days.

Those are a high scammed item and you'll probably get a return on it.

What do you mean by a return? It said the buyer paid for the item and then I shipped it. It also says it got delivered on eBay.

I would expect the payment to be held for 21 days.

I clicked on the link and also the button and it says that they can’t find the item I sold. Why is this?

You must be signed in to your eBay selling account to use that link. The eBay account you are using to post with at the moment has no listings that are active or recently ended or sold, and no feedback for buying or selling.

They'll use it a few weeks and burn it up and want a refund?

They'll replace it with their old one and want a refund.

They'll file for a return and they'll ship back an empty box.
