Buyer Returned Different Item - What Should I do??

Buyer purchased jeans & requested a return which Ebay automatically approved. Upon receipt of the jeans I realized they were not the jeans shipped to the buyer (listed & shown in photos). Buyer is asking for money back & tells me they are what he received? I dont have or carry or have ever had the jeans he returned.
What should or can I now do?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
