Buyer Changes Shipping Preference

After posting and offering the USPS as my option

The buyer changed the shipping preference to Fedex and added other options signature also with instructions. How are they able to do this and they paid the shipping and it did not cover the cost by $1.50 and the final weight and box size was slightly smaller, They already asked for a discount that was 20% i offered 10% and they paid with different shipper and required signature. I did not offer this in the posting and was additional work to find FedEx, How are they able to do this?

Re: Buyer Changes Shipping Preference

The buyer can only choose from what you offer.  Click on your item, then click on the shipping tab to see that you offered fedex, not usps.  I assume eBay checked the signature box automatically, since it is required on shipments of $750 or more.

On items over the signature requirement, you could add a handling charge to charge the buyer this extra amount.

Re: Buyer Changes Shipping Preference

The last item you sold, FedEx was the only shipping option you had in the listing.

A signature is required because it sold for more then $750.00.

Have a great day.

Hi @marty3965

I checked the two Honeywell items you sold yesterday.  One showed USPS shipping ... while the other showed FedEx.  [Each showed only one shipping option.]
