Blocking Account

Somehow I ended up with a 2nd e-bay account that I don't know how it got there.

I was going to remove it but, according to my understanding it would delete my 

original one too. Is there a way to remove it without messing with the original or 

block it from being used by anyone else?

You can close the 2nd/unwanted Ebay account without it affecting your current/original Ebay account.
