Bid and Offer at same time!

I received a bid and an offer at the same time on one item.  I would like to take the offer but how do I do that with a bid hanging open?

The  unaccepted offer is no longer valid once a bid has been placed.

I had already accepted the offer and the bid was placed at almost the same time.  I never did receive an acceptable answer to my question.

If you had completed the process of accepting the offer, a bid could not have been placed.

Accepting the offer would end the listing.

yes you did. You can read ebay polciy if you want. In fact maybe you should read the policies before asking here since you do not believe us..

If you have an auction-style listing with the Best Offer option, bear in mind that:

• If you receive a bid
  • Current offers and counteroffers will be declined automatically, and buyers won’t be able to make any additional offers on your item

The bid the buyer placed was BINDING. You agreed to follow ebay policies. You don't' get to change the policiy.

If you did not want to set up an auction style listing int the first place ...Why did you????? You could have set it up as a buy it Now.  These are the terms YOU agreed to follow...
