I am marked as a below standard seller. After reviewing the items, I found the first one, I closed because I was on vacation in October 2023, so I wouldn't be marked as late shipping. The third closed item was with the same buyer, who bought in October, but when I came back from vacation, the box with the books was lost and I closed it again.
Then, a friend bought the Bagwell card when he was on vacation and I cancelled it, because I had a whole bunch of Padres cards I had picked up for him, and sold them and the Bagwell outside of eBay.
Last, there was a card that got double listed by eBay and both sold, so I cancelled one of them.
So, last week, I got passed the chat and had an eBay woman call me back and I explained what happened and she agreed that the worse I should had as lost closed cards was 4. She said she would talk to a technician and would correct the situation. Of course, haven't heard a thing from eBay.
Also, have tried to list cards in Oct. and have not been allowed!
Now, I can't even get to the chat page, to get eBay to call back!
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks Bob

The cancelled transactions were enough to affect your seller performance adversely.

The Ebay Customer Service agents sometime say things to appease the member just to end the phone call.

Thanks...figured something like that, but then, again, that's still wrong.
I didn't get any notice from eBay until last June that there was a problem and the message was labeled, "Robert, your selling account is now at risk." I didn't even open the message, it was like okay. But the point is, even if I had opened it, it was too late to file anything on closed "lost" auctions.
And, I haven't even been able to list anything new, even though we're a third of the way through October.
I am 72 and been a member of eBay for 25 years and I can't even get through to customer service anymore. I just get a run around the help. In fact, I can't even get in to the chat.
Like I said, the woman I talk to said I would be able to get the time reduced. They should be able to review the phone call, since they say they recorded the phone call. And, I can't do anything, because eBay doesn't seem to care.

Sometimes the Ebay reps on social media are better than the call center agents.
You can give these a try:

If you need to contact a real eBay employee there, DO NOT simply post a comment there. Instead, toward the top click on the "Message" button and begin your comment or question to them.
We want your journey here to be as great as can be, so we have put together some links to help you get quickly familiarized with the eBay Community.
