I bought an item and the item turned out to be defective, so I started a return and eBay created a return shipping label for me, but then the seller contacted me and gave me all my money back instead and said to just throw the item in the trash.
Can I get the shipping cost back if I haven't shipped yet? I printed out the return shipping label but I still have the product in my possession. Thanks!

If I'm understanding your situation correctly, then that label that eBay created for you was a prepaid label. You don't have any money in it that you would need to recover.
