Hi,
I recently bought a 40v battery (FOR Ryobi replacement) that will no longer take or hold a charge, just 2 weeks past the seller's return window of 60 days. The battery seemed fine for the first 60 days (hardle even used it), but now suddenly it's no good. It supposedly has a 1-year warrantee as well, but the manufacturer (in China) is unknown.
I've written to the seller detailing the problem and have gotten no response.
Ebay gives me NO option to contact them for this issue since it's outside the return window.
What other options do I have?
Thanks!

As previously explained, you can't open a claim in Ebay as too much time has passed. What @house*of*paws was expressing to you was if you paid for the item via PayPal, you can go to PayPal and open a claim.

You can contact the seller from any of their active listings. You can also go to your Purchase History and find your transaction. There will be a way to contact your seller.
Be aware that Ebay's window for returns is 30 days. So hopefully your seller will work with you as Ebay will not make them.

As indicated in my OP, I already contacted the seller and have had no response. HIS return window is 60 days, but I am just outside of that (about 75 days).

You have 180 days from date of purchase to file a dispute with PayPal. An alternative is filing a chargeback with your credit card company. Both will likely require that you pay for the return shipping.

Thanks, house...
That's exactly what I'd like to do, but where do I go to file a dispute with ebay?? There's nowhere in the order, or elsewhere that allows me to do so...

Ah. Got it.
Unfortunately, I didn't pay with paypal. (Used CC).
I'll contact my CC company then.
Thanks!
