Is everyone just ok with Egay holding on to your bank info forever, even if you have decided you no longer want to deal with a greedy corrupt corporation and the woke turds who run it.  Basically saying if you ever sold on this platform, we can reach into your account whenever we feel like it. I'm not good with that.

Read their policy.  That's exactly what they do.

Please quote the statement in the policy that says eBay can reach into your bank account "whenever we feel like it," and provide the link.

What you should have done at the beginning was to open a separate checking account that you used for only eBay and nothing else.  Maybe it's not too late to do that now, and change your eBay link to that dedicated account.  Just keep an insignificant balance in the account, and then you can rest easy until you've finished extricating yourself from eBay.

Most logical answer I've gotten.  Hindsight is always 20/20, hopefully this comment will keep others from becoming  ensnared in ebays cyber goon tactics

My eBay account and personal bank account have been linked for 5 years.  They have never taken one cent that wasn’t legitimately owed to them.
