Did you mean:

Automatic re-listing my item especially if it received no bids.

Am I unaware of a procedure or function that allows me to have control of my own property? I watched my item end-it received no bids and then automatic re-listed. It will continue to be automatically re-listed up to 5 times. I do understand that ending an auction early should always be avoided if possible-but why can’t the re-listing decision be mine instead of a computer system?  I certainly would never act in bad faith and end an auction early-especially if it had a bid. What am I missing?

New sellers, and infrequent returning sellers,  who use the Quick Listing tool will have that automatic relist.  To avoid that, switch to the advance/business tool.  That option will be in the upper right corner of the listing tool.  Once you do that, you will have more control over your listings.

Re: Automatic re-listing my item especially if it received no bids.

thank you so much for taking the time to help me. Even though I’ve been a member of EBay since 1999, I took a 7 year break from selling and came back in February. I’m kind of stupid on computer/listing terms and functions.

I don’t know what you’re talking about on something called “listing tool”.

can you please walk me through what you replied like you are explaining to a complete EBay newbie?
