So I’ve been buying from a particular seller for many years now, and the items are usually Jewelry from moderate to high-end and all of a sudden, I am paying for separate shipping on any item that requires authenticity guarantee. In past years, I would pay a combined shipping and from what I’ve read, the seller pays for the shipping (to be authenticated)… But now I seem to be paying for individual shipping for each item coming back from being authenticated. This is frustrating and rather expensive and they’ve never done this before so what’s going on? I did inquire about it with the seller and they said that I cannot opt out from having these items authenticated and I understand that, but if I can’t opt out then why am I being forced to pay for the shipping to get my items? Again, this has just started recently and they would usually just charge me a combined shipping fee for my total order… Which usually has 4 to 6 items on each order.
I also read the details on what constitutes authenticity guarantee and I just don’t get it because some of my items are $2000 and do not get authenticated and other items are 800 and require authenticity. Neither item is a designer brand so what’s up with that? Ugh
