Authentication process 19 + day delay !!

If I would have known that I would have to wait more than 19 days to get a pair of $70 sneakers purchased on eBay, I simply would not have purchased them here. 

This is absurd. Make a little checkbox at checkout asking the buyer if he wants to do authenticate his purchase, there eBay I fixed it.

This is sad, this limits the items I will be getting from this place.

Make things better, faster, give options, this is a good idea, but extremely badly implemented.

If you do not wish to purchase items that have the Authentication Guarantee, then do not purchase those items.  ebay wants buyers to be sure they are purchasing authentic items.  I'm sure they did this to save the buyer from filing Return Requests and going through that process.
