Auction offering local pickup

I one and auction today that offered local pickup. Now the local pickup has somehow disappeared and he wants to charge $30 for shipping the item less than 10 miles away. I've tried to contact the seller with no response. What should I do? Thanks for all your input in advance. It is much appreciated

What is the item number?

Once a listing has received bids, the seller cannot revise the listing, so if Local Pickup was offered, and you selected Local Pickup, the seller should honor it.  $30 seems awfully expensive for a delivery in the same city.

Hi @blcorrell 

-eBay has no provisions on a Local Pick up sale that is paid for to add shipping.  The Seller either has no clue what they are doing or thinks they can get some more money out of you.  

-Message the Seller and advise them that they need to either supply you with their contact information to set up the Local Pick nearby or Cancel the transaction because you will not be paying any money for them to ship the item ... then wait.
