Appealing a dispute as a seller

I sold an item on ebay - purchased mailing label via ebay and sent item - via tracking item got lost in transit - never arrived at destination

2 months later ebay is telling me I’m responsible and plan to deduct the payment t I received $150

Do I not qualify for seller protection?

For sellers' protection, the tracking number must show delivery.

Ya, but that's not the same as delivered.

If it's past the estimated delivery date and the buyer files an INR, you'll have to refund.

If there is recent tracking, they can put a hold on the case for a few days to see if it gets delivered.

If you have to refund, you can try a package intercept and have it shipped back to you.

Have a great day.
