Last Thursday, February 6, I uploaded 60 files with my template, the same template that I used yesterday and today is giving me action errors and ID errors when I know that they are correct. I don't get both of these errors at the same time it's either one or the other. The action word that I'm using is draft and the category ID is 176985 for vinyl records which I know are correct and have been using for the last two months. I downloaded a new template, putting everything in the correct place and still get the same errors. I've had Support call me yesterday and today and they both put in a work request to the technicians to trace to see if there's a problem. yesterday I was told to wait 24 hours and I still got the same results today. The support person today put in another request and it still hasn't been fixed. Very frustrating when you don't know if there's a problem on eBay and or mine because they don't get back in touch with you.
Screenshot below with more different errors. Same template two files. I'm trying to upload.
Thank you

I find it interesting that there are five blank lines ahead of each error message. I don't have an answer for you, but the five blank lines should be informative.

Does my action ID line look correct for United States in spreadsheet screen shot below? I also used the description Utility on lines 3 & 4 to remove any linefeeds in the headings and still ended up with this error. Using a 2023 MacBook Pro with Microsoft Excel, csv templet eBay download.
Much appreciated for your help. Thank you.

Single-digit BAF errors are typically structural failures. The file is not readable or the headers are not found. Generally, the cause could be internal line breaks, headers with breaks, spaces, or hidden symbols, missing headers, or wrong encoding. First, check for more line breaks within your headers and data.
Look more closely at the CSV file format that is selected within Excel. Some older versions of Excel will create a UTF-8 file with special characters at the front of the file, so do not select that CSV format. Also do not select CSV for Mac, since the line-end codes are different for the Mac version.
The format you are using is the old File Exchange. Normally, the old File Exchange template should port over to Seller Hub. Just to be sure, I would recommend eliminating any content ahead of the Action heading, so drop the top line. You might also remove the asterisks from the headers (they are for your info only). However, I suspect the issue is more likely file format or line breaks.
This is what the new Seller Hub version of a draft template includes. You can see the headers have slightly different names, but File Exchange labels should work. The required fields for a draft are the "Action" column and the "Category ID" column.
