Account verification via Paypal.

My account as a seller is limited, and I can't sell goods. Customer service has stated that my account must be verified through Pay Pal. For what purpose? Payments from customers are made through the eBay payment system, and Payout is made directly to a bank account or a debit card connected to this account. In my "my eBay" - Payment folder, there is no option to add a Pay Pal account, only a bank account, credit or debit card. Has anybody had the same problem?

Account verification via Paypal.

You do not get paid through paypal, so there is no need, and no way to add a link to your paypal account.

How did you contact customer service?  If you called a number you found on the internet, it is a scammer trying to get access to your account.

Have you entered a valid checking account to receive your payments?  Have you received and verified the small deposits that eBay sends to your checking account (assuming you did not sign into your bank through eBay for verification)?

If yes to all and your account is still on hold, they may be asking for addition info, like your DL.  Request a call from customer service to see what is needed.

To speak to customer service, use the link on the left side of this page “have us call you” - https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4002&st=10

If you don't see 'have us call you' right under the chat link, click chat.  Then at the bottom of the chat topics, click more, then click contact an agent.

Your account is limited on what you can sell/list because you're a new seller and it has nothing to do with verifying a Pay Pal account.

How did you contact CS?
