Accidentally accepted a return

I have accidentally hit the accept return request key. So I filed a dispute against the buyer  falsely claiming a damaged item. Will this stop their refund? I’m waiting on a resolution from eBay which it taking longer then expected.

even if the buyer was lying about the damage, if you did not accept the return, ebay would refund them anyway and back charge you plus let the buyer keep the item

so you should just go ahead and wait for the returned item b4 refunding, that is if you want the item back, otherwise, just go ahead and refund them

if the item is returned in a different condition than as sent, make sure to report the buyer
