90-Day Return Period Elapsed

Just wondering if the following purchase and not catching the glaring error was my fault for not noticing it within the 90-day return window or the seller's fault for advertising something that wasn't true.

More than 90 days ago I purchased a used --"The Beatles" (White Album), for over $1000.00.  The seller's highlighted selling points were as follows:

The Beatles ~White Album~VERY LOW 0000411~1st US LA Pressing + Misprints RARE!

·        Amazingly low #0000411 US LA Pressing (probably the first day of pressing).

·        Insanely Rare low pressing number.

·        Includes 4x Photos + Poster

·        Has rare misprints on the labels for side 1 - number 4 - "Obladi Oblada", and side 1 - number 5 - "Bungalow Bill"; side 2, number 5 - "Rocky Racoon"; side 2 , number 5 - & side 2, number 7 "Why Don't We Do It In The Road".

·        Matrix #'s

Disc1/Side 1:  SWBO 1-101-J46 #2 IAM

Disc 1/Side 2: SWBO 2-101-J45 II IAM

Disc 2/Side 3: SWBO 3-101-J48 #2 IAM

Disc 2/Side 4: SWBO 4-101-J44 II IAM

In the merchandise summary for the posted album these words are included:  "1st US LA Pressing".  Further down in the summary are the Matrix #'s (all are correct as stated and match the matrix numbers on all four sides of the 2 albums).  At the time I purchased the album I didn't know anything about matrix numbers.  Recently, I pulled out this album to try and determine the current estimated value. That is when I discovered the triangle with the letters "IAM" pressed on all 4 sides of the 2 albums.  IAM as I now know identifies Scranton, Pennsylvania as the factory that pressed my "The Beatles" album. The seller listed the correct matrix numbers but incorrectly listed the album as a 1st US LA Pressing.

-Am I?

--Not the brightest bulb in the room for buying something without knowing much about the product?

--Writing this to make myself feel better, although that's not working as I'm still typing.

--Delusional to think this ends like a Disney movie.

--A whiner that obviously has way too much time on his hands and could at least try to make some needed even if small contribution or gesture to making the world a better place.

--Feel free ....

@randgal01

Ebay's timeline for filing a Return Request is 30 days from date of delivery. (not 90 days)

I was going to pull out my original "White" album and compare it to your notes, but it's stored with all the others albums in a box in the back of the storage closet.

At least you have good taste in music! 😁

I'm up to ten 1968 and two 2018 White albums, mono and stereo, some in great  condition and a couple that need an exorcism to get rid of pops, skips and other unwanted noise. As I'm trying to learn more about this great album, just recently I bought  two books compiled by  Bruce Spizer-'The Beatles Solo on Apple Records' and 'The Beatles White Album and the launch of Apple'. The books are incredibly interesting with all kinds of illustrations, photos, etc.

Thank you for your comments.
