So I recently sold a digital item. The buyer has paid for the item but I’ve been asking since yesterday for the conf code in the eBay email. They are basically saying they can’t find it or don’t have it but they are asking me to send the item. What should I do.

It sounds like you are asking for the QR code (or 6 digit code) that is sent to the buyer for a LOCAL PICKUP. In that case, the buyer prints out the code to give to you when he comes to pick up the item, and you enter the code into the transaction to show that the item has been delivered.
Your listing does show it is a Local Pickup item, so the buyer does have a 6-digit code to give you. Has the buyer looked in his Inbox/Messages from ebay?

If I send them the card without them giving me the pick up confirmation code they can literally just say they never received the item. Why would I put myself in that predicament?

Thank you. Your response was much more on point then the first. Yes I have mentioned several times to the buyer that he needs to send me the confirmation code that was emailed to him by eBay. He got frustrated and said eBay won’t allow access to the code which is definitely not true. I’ve spoke to 3 eBay reps and they’ve all said the same thing. Never release an item without getting your pick up confirmation code.
thanks so much for your help

I've never heard of the Local Pickup code being used for a digital delivery, only for picking up a physical item in person from the seller - that's what "Local pickup" means.
Did you explain to eBay that this was a digital delivery, not physical, when you asked them - 3 different times?
There is also policy for selling electronically delvd goods, and it doesn't appear your listings follow it at all:
