I ordered 2 different DVDs in separate orders from a seller on the same day. Seller sent me 2 tracking #s which were different only in the first 8 digits of the 30 digit total tracking # (which was the OSM - shipping partner portion of the 30 digit tracking#) , but the last 22 digits (the USPS portion of the 30 digit tracking#) were identical. Both packages had the exact same tracking & were scanned in as delivered, but only one package was delivered....the seller had not combined the DVDS into one package (although that would have made sense!) and I was home when my mail was delivered and received it right away so it was not lost, stolen or misplaced. I had reported it to USPS & they said that since the seller had assigned 2 identical USPS tracking numbers to both packages, then that is why they both scanned in as delivered even though there was only one package actually delivered. I have contacted both the seller & eBay (opened a case) but all they see is that it says my missing package was scanned in as delivered even though it wasn't. I had bought many times from this seller before with absolutely no problems & always gave them 5 star reviews which were always well-deserved. However in this case they seem to not believe that I didn't receive my order. I would not go through the hassle of opening up a case over a $6 item if I had actually received it. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Help!
