14 day return query

What does a 14 day Return mean. Does the 14 days start from when purchase arrived at buyers house, & does the 14 days mean that the purchase must be back at the sellers location by 14 days, or does it just mean that the seller must be notified with in 14 days & it posted back by day 14. Or does it mean something else. Is there a link to a eBay policy that I can read please. Thankyou

In general it means that you have 14 days from receipt of the item to open a return case.  You are asking this question on the eBay USA site and each eBay site may have slightly different rules so you need to log out of this site and then log onto your home site and ask this question there.
