************UNFAIR CONTEST*********SCAM??????

This is an unfair contest!!!! Many ebay users are getting their clues at different times. By the time my clue shows up on the page it has already been found!!! This must be corrected as it is unfair to all users or maybe it is just a BIG SCAM! Also many ebay users are using this contest to scam or fraud people. Ebay should have researched this contest BEFORE starting it!!!!!!!

I am having the same problem also with getting the clues late!!!! As far as Americans being stupid this was just down right WRONG to say!!

Good gawd! There are many reasons why one might get the clue after others. Some possibilities (not all) are:

1. You are using one extremely old computer and running Windows 3.0
2. You are on dial up (perhaps even a free ISP)
3. Your haven't deleted your cookies or cleaned your Cache since you bought that thing in 1997.
4. (Insert tons of other reasons here)_________________

I am actually sorry you're getting your clues later than others! It isn't all Ebays fault though.

No I have a new Dell computer with windows XP and a high speed cable modem!! So the problems must lie somewhere else!!!!!

In case you are not aware of it, ebay divides the states into section with a different server for each section, so it is very probably that other people are getting the clues earlier than others. This is why if you are searching every morning for a highly collectible item with a BIN, it is possible for it to be binned in California before the TExas people even see it.

Dear Webdesign2003, thanks! Hehehe. I was going to find a link myself to show it, and ya saved me the trouble. And to the person with a new Dell and Xp.......i was only saying, there are many reasons why this is happening to some users.
Spyware is a definite possibility. It happens to everyone, including my friend who is a microsoft tech.
