Well there you are, how did that post twice????? Cricket, I bought that dress for Sophie today!!!
I also bought her a crystal diamante tiara. I have a bid in for the veil as you know which has crystals through it too. She is going to look like a little princess in her outfit.
All I have left to get her is shoes which we will buy nearer the time. I am going to borrow my friends daughters white cape for the day too, just in case it's cold. I have to phone the place where we are going to for lunch to sort out arrangements. I will do that tomorrow.
I was so pleased at getting the dress for her. Allher friends had been talking about their dresses and she hadn't being talking because we hadn't bought a dress. I spoke with her this morning and asked her would she prefer we buy her a dress rather than wear my sisters dress. She said she would wear my sisters dress if WE wanted but she would like us to buy a dress. She was so happy when she came home from school and I showed her the dress, she said it was cool and was doubly delighted when I told her I had bought it.
WHen her friends had been asking her if she had a dress yet she had been saying no we hadn't bought her dress. She is our only child and we'll do this only once so I hope I am doing her proud!
Catherine, sorry to cut this so short today, but Steve just got home & we need to run to town before the bank closes. Will be gone for probably 1 1/2 hours. I imagine you will have gone to bed by the time we get back.
