Communions do tend to look like that here Skube, the little girls have their dresses and veils. I had one too when I was little!!!
Skube absolutely no offence taken!!!:-x At the end of the day Skube, Sophie is my only child and she is very very special to me. Particularly considering her chances of survival when she was born, they warned me it could be the worst you can think of! I am so proud of how she has come on and the lovely little well mannered girl she has turned into. SHe's beautiful too...but I am very biaised. Anyway if I make her feel she is the most special little princess on an important day in her life then it will be worth it! I have heard of some parents throwing lots and lots of cash at their children's first communion and believe me our expenditure is modest in comparison!!
I hope Skube doesn't stay away Cricket, I really am not offended by his remarks!! My gosh, some people here even hire function halls and have huge parties for hundreds!!! All we're doing is having a 2 course lunch at a local restaurant for around 15 people and that includes Frank, myself and SOphie.

Skube no problem and no offense...honestly! when I think of the money that some of the other parents from Sophies class are throwing at their childrens communion, our celebrations for Sophie are VERY modest!!
