Hi there Skube and thank you for your kind wishes too, they were much appreciated! Friday was dad's funeral and it was difficult but we all got through it. Dad would just want us all to get on with things now and I am trying hard but it will take time for me to get back to normal!

one funny thing though is dad used to carry lots of bits and pieces in his pockets. If you asked him for something he'd rake through his pockets and pull out old betting slips, receipts etc before he'd find what he wanted. So I wrote him a letter which Frank put in his pocket for me and I asked Frank to go and put a bet on some horses for me and put it with the letter in his pocket. We laughed when we checked and his horses had won!!!
😉 So you are going out this evening. That's good ........ enjoy a little steak for me too. I think I am going to do up some walleye tonight.

I was going to ask you what a Walleye was but decided to Google it so as not to sound stupid!!!! It's a fish!!!!!
😞 Ol' Brindle got himself all beat up again this morning Catherine. He's a poor looking soul. I hope the other guy looks like him too. Must of happened just before I let him in after going for the morning paper.
